Prepie Privacy Policy

Prepie is an adult meal-prep, nutrition-log, progress-photo, and community application developed by Ball Dont Lie, Inc. This policy explains what Prepie collects, why it is used, when it becomes public, and how it is deleted.

Information you provide

• Account identifiers such as email address, provider user ID, name, and optional avatar.
• Goals, calorie-plan snapshots, meals, foods, prep schedules, nutrition logs, workouts, awards, and reminders.
• Optional weight history, notes, and private progress photos or videos.
• Public derivatives, captions, and metric fields you explicitly select and publish.
• Reports, blocks, appeals, support requests, and requested-text consent.

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, Prepie reads the workouts and active energy you give it permission to read, and uses them to show your burn and adjust your daily and weekly numbers. You can turn this off at any time in the Health app. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising and do not sell it.

Game leaderboard

If you post a score in Prepie Bird, we collect the name you choose and your email address. Your name and score appear publicly on the leaderboard. Your email address is never shown publicly. We use it only to contact you if you win a prize. Contact privacy@prepie.fit to have your entry removed.

Email waitlist

If you join the email waitlist on prepie.fit, we collect your email address and the time you signed up. We use it only to tell you when access to Prepie is ready, and we keep it until then or until you ask us to remove it. We store it with Supabase, and our team gets a Slack message with your address when you join. Contact privacy@prepie.fit to be removed.

Beta waitlist

When you request beta access, we collect your first and last name, mobile number, prep/tracking preference, and confirmation that you are an adult U.S. resident with an iPhone. We record the time and wording of your invitation-text consent, the signup source, a keyed hash of your IP address, and your browser’s user agent for abuse prevention. We store your actual phone number privately so we can deliver the invitation; waitlist details are not public and are not used to create an app account.

Joining the waitlist sends no immediate SMS. With your explicit consent, we may send one automated invitation when access is ready. This is not a recurring marketing subscription. Request details are retained while your beta request is pending and as needed to handle the invitation, consent, and abuse records. Contact privacy@prepie.fit to withdraw your request or request deletion without needing an app account.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate your account, calculate and preserve your plans, synchronize your records, generate share media, operate the public feed, deliver requested messages, moderate content, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.

Private photos and public posts

Progress originals are private by default and are not analyzed for body characteristics. Prepie never publishes a check-in automatically. Publishing creates a separate derivative containing only the image, caption, identity, and Prepie-log metrics you reviewed. Private source URLs are not included in public feed data.

Service providers

Prepie uses service providers for hosting and authentication, nutrition lookup, transactional email, SMS delivery, crash reporting, and minimal product analytics. Current providers may include Supabase, Fly.io, USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret, Apple, Google, Twilio, Sentry, and PostHog. PostHog session replay and automatic capture are disabled.

Retention and deletion

When you delete your account, access and public content are removed immediately, live personal data is deleted within 24 hours, and backup copies expire within 30 days unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, or law. Admin audit events are retained for one year. You may request an export or deletion in the app or through privacy@prepie.fit.

SMS choices

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or contact support@prepie.fit to withdraw consent before an invitation is sent. Consent to a beta invitation does not authorize marketing messages. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their marketing. Delivery providers process the number only to provide the messaging service.

Age and security

Prepie is limited to adults age 18 and older. We use access controls, private storage, encrypted transport, and audited administration, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You control whether a progress check-in includes weight, whether a new weight updates the current plan, which metrics appear publicly, whether a post is published, reminders, blocks, and account deletion.
